How long has KC Security been going?

The KC Security team has worked in the locksmith and security industry for more than twenty years, in Ireland and across Europe. KC Security Locksmiths is the family-run business built on that experience, based in Naas, Co. Kildare.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold a licence from the Private Security Authority, the statutory regulator for locksmiths in Ireland, we are Garda vetted, and we carry full public liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.

What are the MLA and A.L.O.I.?

The Master Locksmiths Association and the Associated Locksmiths of Ireland are the trade bodies for the industry. We are full members of both, which means our work and conduct are held to their standards.

Who will I be dealing with?

Do you charge a call-out fee?

A call-out charge can apply and we confirm it with you before we travel. Any quote given over the phone is an estimate until we can see the door, lock or safe in person, and the final price is agreed on site before work starts.

Do you only do emergency work?

No. Lockouts are a large part of it, but most of what we do is planned: lock changes and upgrades, anti-snap cylinders, master key and restricted key systems for businesses, and supplying and fitting safes.

Do you supply safes as well as fit them?

Yes. We supply home and office safes through our own shop and deliver them.
